Unkersdorfer Kirche

The Unkersdorfer church plays an important role in the history of the Dresden Jazz Days. The idea for the former Unkersdorf Jazz Days was born in 2000 on the occasion of a concert with the Klazz Brothers on the 650th anniversary of Unkersdorf. Due to the spontaneous positive response to jazz music in the Unkersdorfer church among the community, the church members and the population, the idea of a jazz festival, today's Jazztage Dresden, emerged during the concert.
